As everyone who watches me has probably noticed, I've been really lacking being around here. Sorry. I've been so busy doing other things I really haven't put much effort into my art. So some might be wondering, what have I been doing? Well, working my day job mostly, but I've been dabbling in digital painting when I get the chance and also traditional painting. I've also gotten into glass etching. But the one big thing I've done with my life, that has been a recent development, is become an author. After working on my book series for 5 years, the first book is finally up for purchase. This book contains characters I was starting to share in my drawing so letting you guys know about it was a bit subtle but in the making.
For those interested in checking it out here's a bit about it. The series is called Experimental Heart and the first book is Experimental Heart: Pieces. The series is a science fantasy set in a near future world still trying to hold onto old customs and beliefs in gods that is on the brink of war. It's set in the point of view of a human war experiment fugitive named Eira who, after facing death, is saved by an unlikely rescuer, a dragon shapeshifter. The two team up, along with her fellow comrades, to fight against the tyrannical rule that created her and is the major threat in the impending war.
Experimental Heart: Pieces is currently out on Nook and Kindle. Kobo is working on publishing this in e-book format as well. I am still debating on Google play's book store and Apple's iBook store for various reason so as of right now they do not sell my book. A hardcover version is planned to be available but right now I do not have an estimated time when that will happen.
If you're interested in purchasing or even checking out the first book check the links below. I will also be posting my facebook author page for those who would like to keep tabs on any updates or possible book meets I might attend in the future. Once the website I have is up and running I'll share that as well but it's a bit of a mess right now.
